Just when you think some of things you find are quite unique, you find a duplicate “odd & unusual” site along your way. Unlike the “Fork in the Road” in Pasadena, California, this fork is in rural Oregon, south of the capital city of Salem.
This one is also beside of a road which is straight and has no real fork. It was apparently constructed by the owner of the home across the road from the actual fork. Also this fork is metal, while the Pasadena fork is made of wood painted to look like metal.
The handle of the fork is very ornate with welds. I do not know if the symbols mean anything? Feel free to email me if you know!

I rarely appear in photographs here. Mostly, because I’m always behind the camera, rather than in front of it. Luckily (or maybe unluckily?), I had a friend with me for this visit. The photo serves to add a little perspective as to the size of the fork. I stand about 6′ 2+”, so the fork stands about 12 feet tall.
As always, THANK YOU for the visit. I welcome and appreciate comments (at the bottom of every page/post) and/or EMAILS. Please feel free to SUBSCRIBE (free or voluntary donation) to this site. If you enjoyed your visit, learned anything, or feel like helping the site out a little, I would love it if you shared our site with friends and family. If you don’t like this site ***GASP*** then you should spam your enemies with it LOL. Hey, any traffic helps! You can also DONATE to keep this dream alive. I always give 50% of all (net) donations and (net) profits from any source to charity as my way of giving thanks and sharing my good fortune.
Thanks again!
Joe
